Make Money Hosting Gold Home Parties

Make Money Selling Used Gold.

About a month ago we published a series of six articles discussing the different forms used gold comes in. Specifically, gold bullion and gold bars, scrap and broken gold items, old gold jewelry and of course gold coins.

There also was an article that discussed selling old gold by weight, or by the Carat.

The series was entitled How To Sell Your Old Gold and Jewelry For Cash.

Of course a blog being what a blog is, these posts quickly become buried in the archives as new posts went up, which is why we've created this post. It outlines the series of articles and provides easy to navigate links back to the posts for anyone interested in these specific gold related topics.

  • Selling Gold By the Carat: 10k, 14k, 16k, 18k, 22k, 24k Gold - In determining the purity of gold alloys, carat means a proportion by weight of one part in twenty four or 41.66 parts per 1000. This means that the higher the carat value, the higher the proportion of gold in relation to the base metal content.
  • Selling Gold Bullion and Gold Bars - A 'bullion' means any precious metal (gold included) that is in a form whose 'primary value' comes from the actual worth of the metal and not from an artificial currency value. The most familiar forms of bullion are coins such as gold bullion coins, or bars such as gold bullion bars.
  • Selling Scrap and Broken Gold Items by Weight - When selling your gold for scrap, obviously the condition of the gold item is of no importance. As long as there’s gold to be recovered, then it’s the ideal candidate for selling as scrap gold.
  • Selling Old Gold Jewelry - Since the prices paid for scrap gold are based on just the value of the metal itself, while completely ignoring the craftmanship, aesthetic, antique, and sentimental value, it only makes sense that not all your old gold jewelry items are suitable to be sold off at a gold party as scrap gold.
  • Selling Gold Coins - Gold coins are coins that consist mostly or entirely of gold. Gold coins are intended to be sold to collectors, or to be used as bullion coins or bullion currency.
These posts were originally published in early August. We've provided the links above so you can find them easily. If you are interested in making money selling gold, you should give them a read.

Host a Gold Party or Gold Buying Event For Charity - Raise Money For a Cause!

Support Your Favorite Charity By Hosting a Gold Buying Party.

There is a great read on the Hosting a Gold Home Party blog, called Host a Gold Party for Charity - Support Your Favorite Charity By Hosting a Gold Buying Party.

Do you have old jewelry lying around you simply do not wear any more?

Does any of this old, unwanted jewelry contain gold? Things like broken necklaces, mismatched earrings, broches, even past engagement or promise rings?

You know, rings from high school sweet hearts, jewelry from the 60's, 70's, 80's... lol.

Then there are those broken gold chains and single earrings you haven't had the heart to part with single you misplaced or lost their mate.

Maybe you've got some old jewelry you inherited. Nothing of sentimental value, but perhaps worth something for the gold it contains. After all, you never wear it, but you know it’s worth something.

Have you ever been engaged only to cancel the wedding?

If so, you likely still have the engagement ring. But do you wear it? Of course not, so why not turn it into cash to pay bills or fill the gas tank.

The point is that all this old gold jewelry can easily be turned into cash. Cash you can use to pay the rent or mortgage with, pay bills, treat the family to a night out. That sort of thng. I mean lets face it. In these tough economic times a little extra cash can go a long way.

If you would like to learn more about how to turn that old unwanted gold jewelry into cash by hosting a gold home party, there is a great read on the Hosting a Gold Home Party blog, called Host a Gold Party for Charity - Support Your Favorite Charity By Hosting a Gold Buying Party.

It talks about how hosting a gold buying fund raiser for your favorite charity can be a fun and enjoyable way to turn your old gold items into extra cash. The best part is that you can ask your family and friends to bring their old gold jewelry to the party, join in the fun, and support the cause in the process.

It's a win, win for everyone. You sell your old gold for cash, your family and friends all do the same and get to go home with extra cash in their pockets... and there is a percentage of the total gold sold and bought that goes to the charity hosting the gold buying event.

Go read the article to learn more about how hosting a gold party for charity works. Then come back here and let us know what you think by leaving a comment in our comment area.

Host a Gold Home Party in Vancouver and Make Money

Vancouver Gold Home Parties a Natural...

This story will have you rumaging through that old jewelry box and fishing out the old, broken and unwanted gold jewelry you don't wear any more.

The combination of tight budgets and soaring gold prices have sponded something called gold parties where women, and men, bring in their old gold jewelry and sell it for good old cash.

It all started in the US and has now made its way into BC and is quickly sweeping its way across the rest of Canada.

If you are the kind of person who's door is always open for a visit from a friend and you like to throw a party, then pay attention to the gold party phenomonon currently happening in Vancouver and sweeping the rest of the nation... it could make you some money, a lot of money!

Gold parties are the party with a difference.

Instead of your friends coming over to buy products, as is the case with Tupperware parties and the like, they show up with a bottle of wine for the hostest and their gold collections.

You simply organize the gold buying event (home gold party) and ask your invited guests to dig deep in their jewelry chests and drawers and if they have broken necklases, earings they don't wear any more, or something else made of gold they want to get rid of, to bring them along because there will be a gold appraiser at the party to value the gold items and to purchase all the old gold, broken gold jewelry and unwanted gold items you bring.

Gold home parties are an opportunity to make some money and have a girls night out too.

Call it a sign of the economic times, gold parties bring out everything from sweet sixteen gifts, high school, teenage romance rings and family heirlooms... to gold teeth... that's right, gold teeth!

Gold jewelry and gold items are brought to in-home gold buying parties that the person doesn't even know where they originally came from.

With the price of gold sitting around a thousand dollars an once right now, gold parties are a lucrative business.

One gold party guest, its been reported in Vancouver media, showed up with a container full of gold fillings and took home a check for almost five thousand bucks!

Hmmm, the report never said where she worked or where she got the gold fillings from... lol.

Bottom line, home gold buying parties are an opportunity to clear out some of that old gold jewelry and turn it into cash. And if you like to party, you can make money hosting parties, having your guests book parties of their own and by telling people about gold parties and the opportunity they present in these trying economic times.

Gold home parties truly are an opportunity to make money, and its something that can be duplicated by any one of your guests!

If you live in Canada, we recommend you visit what we believe to be the very best home gold party program currently available in Canada, Gold Parties Canada.

On the other hand, if you live in the United States, we recommend you visit what we believe to be the very best gold buying program in the U.S., Fast Cash Gold Parties.
