Make Money Hosting Gold Home Parties

Make Money Selling Used Gold.

About a month ago we published a series of six articles discussing the different forms used gold comes in. Specifically, gold bullion and gold bars, scrap and broken gold items, old gold jewelry and of course gold coins.

There also was an article that discussed selling old gold by weight, or by the Carat.

The series was entitled How To Sell Your Old Gold and Jewelry For Cash.

Of course a blog being what a blog is, these posts quickly become buried in the archives as new posts went up, which is why we've created this post. It outlines the series of articles and provides easy to navigate links back to the posts for anyone interested in these specific gold related topics.

  • Selling Gold By the Carat: 10k, 14k, 16k, 18k, 22k, 24k Gold - In determining the purity of gold alloys, carat means a proportion by weight of one part in twenty four or 41.66 parts per 1000. This means that the higher the carat value, the higher the proportion of gold in relation to the base metal content.
  • Selling Gold Bullion and Gold Bars - A 'bullion' means any precious metal (gold included) that is in a form whose 'primary value' comes from the actual worth of the metal and not from an artificial currency value. The most familiar forms of bullion are coins such as gold bullion coins, or bars such as gold bullion bars.
  • Selling Scrap and Broken Gold Items by Weight - When selling your gold for scrap, obviously the condition of the gold item is of no importance. As long as there’s gold to be recovered, then it’s the ideal candidate for selling as scrap gold.
  • Selling Old Gold Jewelry - Since the prices paid for scrap gold are based on just the value of the metal itself, while completely ignoring the craftmanship, aesthetic, antique, and sentimental value, it only makes sense that not all your old gold jewelry items are suitable to be sold off at a gold party as scrap gold.
  • Selling Gold Coins - Gold coins are coins that consist mostly or entirely of gold. Gold coins are intended to be sold to collectors, or to be used as bullion coins or bullion currency.
These posts were originally published in early August. We've provided the links above so you can find them easily. If you are interested in making money selling gold, you should give them a read.

The Safest Way To Sell Old Gold

Beware The Gold Party Scam, Know You're Gold Party Hosts.

"Currently there are many online and 'mail in' gold buying companies that will "buy your gold jewelry" and "turn your gold into cash." These gold buying companies are of interest to many, but be very careful. Do your research. Check into the company before you have dealings with them, as quite often they are nothing short of rackets and scams that give you pennies on the dollar for your old gold valuables."

That is a quote from a post at Canadian Gold Parties.

Read the full post at, Gold Parties Canada is a Safe and Trusted Way to Sell Old Gold.

Certainly not all gold buying companies are scams, but none the less, be sure to do your research first.

Remember, the safest way to sell your gold or host a gold home party of your own, is to book a gold party with a reputable gold buyer like Gold Parties Canada or Fast Cash Gold Parties.

Gold Home Parties Make Extra Cash During Recession

Host a New Kind of Party, a Gold Home Party, and Send Your Guests Home With Extra Cash!

With the economy in recession and so many people out of work its hard to find something to celebrate, but there is one exception... Gold Parties!

These economic times we live coupled with the rise in gold prices have helped fuel a new kind of party. Now here is a party that's definitely worth the time. It's a party where you leave with more money than when you showed up with... and its called a Home Gold Party!

It's true, with the economy the way it is and so many Canadians and Americans losing their jobs, there's not a lot of people in the mood for parties. But like so many have learned, its a perfect time to host a gold party and make some extra cash to pay bills, buy food, help with the rent or mortgage... or simply to treat yourself and your loved ones to something special.

Turn Old Gold Into Cash

Everyone has old gold rings, earrings, chains and scrap gold kicking around. Well it aint worth a dime stuffed away in a drawer or old shoe box... but it can be turned into cash!

There are options. We have all seen the late night commercials on TV, but if you don't like the idea of having to go into a pawn shop and you don't trust sending off your scrap jewelry and gold to some stranger through the mail, gold home parties offer a great alternative way to turn that old gold into cash... and you can have fun, even build a real gold party business in the process.

Gold Parties are a Quick Way to Make Money

Home gold parties are a great way to make quick money by turning old unwanted and broken gold jewelry and other gold items into cash. We're talking about items you no longer wear. Gold jewelry just sitting in your jewelry box or drawer. It's a genuine 'gold rush' for many women in both Canada and the United States... and its a chance to party with friends, neighbors, workmates, family and lots of gold!

"I was really excited because I thought, oh I've got all this stuff sitting around. Why not see what I can do with it,"says Bernadette Lokken of Columbia county. She attended a home gold party and brought along several pieces of gold to be examined. While some pieces were not as valuable as others, she still walked away with a good deal and a pocket full of extra cash.

"Coming to an in-home gold party is much more trustworthy, relaxing and fun than mailing in your gold and holding your breathe in the hopes you might get paid, its just a much better feeling,"adds a friend who also attended the party.

It was thinking about old pieces of gold just sitting in a jewelry box that prompted Mary Pat Seal to host a gold party of her own recently. Her hope was to turn some gold items she hasn't worn in years into spare cash. "These are things you're never going to use again. For example, I'm selling them my high school ring, something I haven't worn in 25 years."

There are women all across Canada and United States just like Seal who are hosting gold home parties and making extra cash for themselves and their families... some are making a business out of it!

Perfect Time to Host a Home Gold Party of Your Own

"This is the time when people need gas and grocery money. Times are hard so you do what you got to do to supply for your family," says Sara.

A stay at home mom, Sara has been working with gold party clients since March of this year. She has a license to buy gold and works with a refinery to melt it. Sellers have the option of turning down her offer, but for the most part she puts money back into your wallets.

"I paid out $1400 to one single lady,"says Sara. "I've even had ladies cry at my table for 60 dollars. Consider a gold party because you are in the comfort of someone's home and it's a fun environment so you feel more comfortable."

It is true, that although some individuals may discover their precious metals are not worth what they thought they were worth (once you measure the weight in gold), the idea of walking away with cash in hand and a future opportunity to host a home gold party of your own (and make money doing it) makes some customers think they've literally struck gold.

"This is the only kind of party where you will leave with more money than you came with," says Sara. "I guarantee that."

"It is an unusual event when you walk into someone's house with gold in your pocket and leave with money in your pocket," adds Mary Pat.

In Sara's case, she says she pays each gold party attendee about 80-85 percent of the gold's worth, then takes the jewelry to the refinery to be melted down and made into a gold bar.

Gold parties are huge and they truly are a great way to generate a little extra grocery and gas money for you and your family... and they are also a great business opportunity.

Don't miss out.

If you live in the U.S. go to Fast Cash Gold Parties . They are currently recruiting motivated individuals to train to be regional reps in their area. Gold Parties Canada is doing the same in Canada.

Give them a call if you are interested... its a great time to party if its a gold party!

Sell Your Old Gold at Home

Got Old Gold To Sell?

If you've got old gold jewelry or other gold items that you would like to sell, then sell your old gold at home!

Sure there are pawn shops, but they won't give you nearly what your gold pieces are worth. You could try your local jewelry stores, but most make such a huge markup on their new stock they aren't even interested your stuff.

A better idea is to sell your old gold at home!

Sell Your Gold at Home!

It's simple. You invite gold buyers and guests to your home for a party. They are called gold-selling parties, and they are a great way to sell your old and unwanted gold jewelry and make a little extra cash on the side.

The gold home party concept works because the gold buyer is interested due to the large amount of gold jewelry being sold at one sitting. However, the seller should check out a few different gold buyers to determine which will offer the better price.

It's true, you need to do a little research before hosting a gold party in your home. Homework must be done in that the gold seller (you and your gold party guests) should know the price of gold (per ounce) ahead of time. That way you will better be able to see the spread between what the gold is actually worth and what you are being offered.

A little math is necessary to first figure out what percentage of the necklace is gold by its karat weight, and then the weight of the whole necklace. Once this calculation is done, you will easily see the commission or spread in the price of the amount of gold you have and how much money is being offered.

Selling gold jewelry is simply a tool we use in tough economic times. A survival tool for garnering some extra cash for something more important to you than old jewelry you never wear.

So host a gold home party, you might even sharpen up your math skills.
If you are interested in hosting a gold party we can recommend reputable gold buyers for you to use.

If you are in Canada, we recommend you call Gold Parties Canada, and if you are in the States, we recommend you use Fast Cash Gold Parties. Both these companies are affiliated with one another and have developed one of the best and most successful gold home party plans out there.

Learn more about how Stacey Mikel, founder and president of Fast Cash Gold Parties turned a simple gold party into a successful business, a gold buying business that is sweeping the nation.
